Directions to Flagstaff & NAU

By Air

Flagstaff Pulliam Airport (FLG) is served by American and United Airlines, offering multiple daily flights to/from Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX), Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), and Denver (DEN) International Airports. Driving from Flagstaff Pulliam Airport to the Northern Arizona University campus takes approximately 10 minutes via I-17 North.

By Car

Flagstaff is served by Interstates I-17 & I-40, and the NAU campus is located at the intersection of the two Interstates. 

From I-17 North: I-17 North becomes Milton Rd as it enters Flagstaff. For Kitt Recital Hall and the Kitt School of Music, from Milton Rd, turn right on Riordan Rd and drive to the Knoles Garage, which provides credit card access.

From I-40 East/West: take exit 195 North toward Flagstaff/Grand Canyon/Milton Rd. For Kitt Recital Hall and the Kitt School of Music, from Milton Rd, turn right on Riordan Rd and drive to the Knoles Garage, which provides credit card access. 

Accommodation

There are many hotels, motels, Airbnb, and VRBO accommodation options around the NAU campus and downtown Flagstaff.  The summer months bring an influx of visitors to the city and area attractions, so advance booking is advised.
